ENJOY IT AND HAVE FUN

A brand new football club

We set up an U11’s team in 2024, followed by an U10’s team in 2025.
Now its time for a men’s Veterans team for 2026!

Players

We have full squads for our Under 12’s and Under 10’s teams but now it’s time to build our men’s Veterans team for over 35’s – which means we are on the lookout for football players who are currently looking to continue to play football in a fun and not-to-serious atmosphere. Do get in touch as we are always actively seeking quality additions to bolster our squads.

Training

Training sessions are held on different days for each year group. U12’s and U10’s train on Tuesday evenings at NOA (astro). In Spring and Summer, training for both teams will be at Horton View Sports Ground (grass).

Location

Under 10’s play matches at The Grange Community Primary School (OX16 9YA).
Under 12’s play matches at Horton View Sports Ground (OX16 9HR). Horton View will also be requested for the men’s Veterans matches.

Kit & Sponsor

We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Tuthill Porsche, Caliber Construction and Toast Design Agency. We are always on the lookout for further sponsorship from local companies.

FA Affiliation

We are affiliated with the Oxfordshire FA as a 1 Star Accredited Club and junior teams play in the Witney & District Youth League. Adults will play in the Banbury & District Lord Jersey League. Player registration will continue through the full season.

Qualifications

As part of the affiliation process, we have a chair, secretary, managers, coaches and a welfare officer. We have completed the pre-requisite courses (FA playmaker, First Aid in football, Safeguarding Children and Welfare Officers Course), along with the necessary FA DBS checks.

About Our Club

Banbury Cross FC is a new football club set up for the 2024-25 football season. We started with one team and now have two (Under 10’s and Under 12’s) for the 2025-26 season – playing in the Witney & District League. We are now setting up a men’s Veterans team.

Training sessions run from August to May and typically follow the English football season. The new Veterans team is due to begin some light training sessions in February 2026.
